Thanksgiving Sit-Down Dinner

The Residence Hall Association (RHA) will host its annual Thanksgiving sit-down dinner on Wednesday, November 18 from 4:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Economou Dining Hall. RHA holds the event to serve students and thank them for all of the hard work they do on and off campus.

In past years, members of the Canisius College community have volunteered their time and helped us to make this event a success. RHA is extending an invitation to anyone able and willing to lend a hand and help us run our dinner this year. If you are able to volunteer, please email the Residence Hall Association at rha@canisius.edu to let us know. Thank you in advance!

Canisius Magazine Celebrates 50 Years of Women at the College

The fall 2015 edition of Canisius Magazine began hitting mailboxes this week. If you haven’t received yours yet, you can read the entire edition by clicking here.

This latest issue celebrates the birth of coeducation at Canisius and the remarkable women who dared to blaze the trail.

Also in this issue, you’ll read about an enterprising educator (Timothy Weibel ’00, MS 04) who converted his classroom lessons into a viable business venture – and – former voice coach to the stars, Andy Anselmo ’45, shares the story of his career teaching our favorite celebrities to sing.

Read these stories and more, and then tell us what you think by completing our Canisius Magazine readership survey. It takes only a minute (literally) to participate and your answers will help shape the future of the publication.
