Join Canisius faculty, students and alumni on Tuesday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m. in the Grupp Fireside Lounge for a discussion of Archbishop Oscar Romero. Archbishop was beatified in May 2015 in San Salvador at a service attended by hundreds of thousands of people. What is this all about? What could draw such a crowd of people and what does it mean to be “beatified?”

The panel features Richard Reitsma, PhD, Paola Fajardo-Heyward, PhD, Timothy Wadkins, PhD, Gabrielle Walter ’15 and Monica Wrobel ’17.

The event is free and open to the public. Free food and drinks will also be available.
