Hear the Canisius College Concert Band and the Erie County Wind Ensemble perform this Saturday, October 24 at 5:00 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.
The Canisius College Concert Band, under the direction of Paul D. Biddle, and the Erie County Wind Ensemble, under the direction of John Maguda, will perform works on their own and together. The Canisius College Concert band will perform works by John Williams, Johan de Meij, Roland Barrett and Frank Ticheli. The Erie County Wind Ensemble will perform works by Hellmesberger, Martin Ellerby, Robert Mols, Michael Torke and John Phillip Sousa.
Admission to the concert is $5, payable at the door. A portion of the funds will be donated to a charity chosen by the Canisius College Concert Band as part of a service-learning project.
