Three Canisius alumni are the recipients of Alpha Sigma Nu’s Magis Medal.  The honor society of Jesuit colleges and universities is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year by awarding 100 Magis Medals to members “who truly embody their Jesuit roots out in the world.”  The Canisius awardees are Frederick G. Attea ’61 and Robert M. Greene ’66, both partners at the law firm of PhillipsLytle LLP, and Megan Brenner-Zwara ’10, the Western New York recruitment coordinator for Americorps Build Lives through Education (ABLE). Frederick Attea was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu in 1960.

Robert Greene was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu in 1965.

Megan Brenner-Zwara was inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu in 2009.
