This year, in order to avoid any long periods of down time, ITS will be installing upgrades to Banner throughout the months of June and July. This will help avoid any critical, long periods of down time of the system for various offices.
A list of dates for the various upgrades will be released as the summer progresses.

Please join me in congratulating Robert Schaedel, interim director of administrative computing, who has accepted a position at the New College of Florida in Sarasota, FL. Although Bob has enjoyed a long career at Canisius College, he and his wife, Marietta, are taking this opportunity to relocate.
Bob has been at Canisius for more than 25 years. He came here as a programmer/analyst, became a senior level programmer/analyst and most recently was appointed to interim director of administrative computing. He has had a direct impact on many of the administrative computing processes we now have in place. We have come to depend on his knowledge and expertise for the many projects with which he has been involved and we have valued his input as a key person in the Information Technology Services Department.
We will miss Bob on both a professional and personal level. His last day at Canisius will be Friday, July 10.
