The Marketing and Communication Department will be conducting a series of focus groups next week to evaluate creative concepts for a new Canisius brand campaign. We are in need of current students (undergrad and grad), staff members and faculty to participate. The groups will be facilitated by Eric Mower & Associates and are scheduled as follows:
Wednesday, June 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Staff)
Thursday, June 11 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Faculty – only 5 spots left)
Thursday, June 11 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Students)
All sessions will be held in Grupp Fireside Lounge. Anyone interested in participating should email Gary Steltermann at stelterg@canisius.edu by end of day on Thursday, June 4. Please note, space is limited.

Faculty, staff and their family members are invited to join campus ministry and the Buffalo Burrito Project on Tuesday, June 23 and Tuesday, July 28.
Burritos will be prepared in our kitchen from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
From 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., the group will walk a four-mile route and serve about 80 burritos, snacks and cold drinks. (A campus ministry van follows the team as we walk).
Katie Martoche, President John J. Hurley, Millie Hurley and Kathleen Delaney, reference librarian and archivist, prepare burritos..
You may choose to help prepare the burritos, prepare and serve or just serve. Most people do both.
The Burrito Project provides home-made burritos to the poor and homeless population in downtown Buffalo. This outreach ministry serves some of God’s most vulnerable and forgotten children.

The KAC will have the following summer hours:
Monday – Thursday 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Open swim will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The KAC will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Education Technologies Department is hosting a Google for Education Summit on Tuesday June 30 and Wednesday July 1. This summit will feature presenters from around the world sharing their experiences in using Google Apps for education and other Google products in the classroom. Summits of this caliber are extremely popular and have been recently conducted in California, Florida, Maine, Alabama, South Africa, South Korea and Queensland.
