With nine games left to play on the conference baseball schedule, this week’s three-game series against Marist looms large for playoff positioning. Canisius will host the Red Foxes in a twin bill on Saturday which starts at 2:00 p.m. and for a single game Sunday afternoon with the first pitch slated for 3:30 p.m.
The Griffs enter this weekend in fourth place in the MAAC with a league record of 9-6. The top six make the post-season tourney with the top two receiving coveted first round byes. Canisius sits a half-game out of second place and has a one-game lead over Marist.
