The Canisius College Master of Sport Administration (MSA) Program and the Institute for Research in Sport invite the Canisius community to join them for the MSA Distinguished Guest Lecture Series: Women in Sport Symposium. The lecture will be held tonight from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the Science Hall Commons.

The lecture will feature MSA alumae who work at various companies in the Western New York Area.  Super-panelists include:

Andrea Gregory `07 – Roswell Park Alliance Foundation
Teresa Belbas `05 – Buffalo Sabres
Emily Herr `13 – Buffalo Bills
Nicole Conte `08 – New Era

The panel members will discuss the advantages to being a woman in the workplace, share advice to young women looking to get into the sports industry, talk about various breakthroughs for women in the professional sports industry and how the MSA program helped prepare them for their current roles.

Katy Ryan ’11, senior partnership services manager for the Buffalo Sabres, will moderate the event.  Judith Caserta ’08, assistant athletic director, business operations for Canisius College will be the keynote speaker.

The lecture will be free of charge and open to the Buffalo community.
