Sit in on Independent Health’s Medicare Plan Overview

Laryssa Domagala, medicare sales, audit and training coordinator, will be on campus to present an overview on Medicare insurance options available through Independent Health. This overview will include the two college-sponsored plans available for full-time faculty and staff when they retire and individual plans offered through Independent Health.

The presentation will be held in the Student Center Conference Room 205 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 23.

Congratulate Eta Sigma Phi Inductees

Patrick Clancy ’15, Pat McMahon ’15, Victoria Murty ’15 and Tim Piscatelli ’15  celebrate with the newest members of the Delta Beta chapter of Eta Sigma Phi, the National Classics Honor Society. All four graduating seniors received their honor cords at the ceremony held on Monday, April 13.

Buy Your Tickets to the Annual Regents Scholarship Ball

Scott Bieler, the 2015 Distinguished Citizen Achievement Award recipient.

The 49th Annual Canisius College Regents Scholarship Ball will be held Saturday, May 9 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. Cocktails begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m. This event is the primary fundraiser for the Board of Regents Scholarship Fund, which distributes more than $80,000 annually in scholarships to deserving students.

The Regents Ball also provides an opportunity to pay tribute to individuals who have been outstanding contributors to the community. This year the Board of Regents will honor Scott Bieler, president of West Herr Automotive Group, with the 2015 Distinguished Citizen Achievement Award.

Faculty and staff tickets are currently on sale for $80. Your reservation may be completed by registering online here by Friday, April 24.
