Five kittens have taken up residence in the Margaret L. Wendt Animal Behavior Laboratory in Science Hall from Wednesday, March 25 – Friday, May 1. In cooperation with the SPCA of Erie County, Miranda Workman’s ABEC 220: Animal Learning class have welcomed the kittens for enrichment and training.

Workman, adjunct professor of animal behavior, invites the campus community to view the training and enrichment sessions during the following times (beginning March 25):

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – 8:50 a.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
  • Mondays – Fridays from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

The kittens will be available for adoption through the SPCA of Erie County as soon as May 1. For more information, contact Workman, at workmanm@canisius.edu.
