The 17th Annual Canisius College Shoes for the Shelter 5K, presented by Independent Health, will be held Sunday morning, April 19, at 10:00 a.m. Registration can be completed online at www.GoGriffs.com, or forms can be submitted in person in Room 181 in the Koessler Athletic Center. Packet pickup in the KAC is slated for 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. on Friday and 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cost for faculty and staff is $20 in advance and $25 on race day. Walkers, joggers and runners are welcome.
Whether you are participating, or not, please feel free to drop your old shoes off in one of the bins located around campus. We are looking to receive 4000 pairs of shoes this year and every contribution gets us closer to the goal.
