The Festival of Ensembles is this Friday, April 10, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. This event features all of the student performing ensembles: The Canisius College Choral, Frank Scinta, director; Concert Band, Paul D. Biddle, director; Chamber Orchestra, Ansgarius Aylward, director; and the Jazz Ensemble, Dave DeWitt, director. Tickets for this concert are $5 general admission and all proceeds will go to the WNY Pet Emergency Fund.
On Monday, April 13, the final Meet-the-Faculty event of the year will be held in the Montante Cultural Center. The event will feature a lecture entitled “Music Pedagody in Higher Education,” given by Bradley Wingert, director of Cantio Sacra. The lecture is scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
