Christopher Lopata, PsyD, and Marcus Thomeer, PhD, co-directors of the Institute for Autism Research at Canisius, found a unique emotion recognition treatment to be highly effective for children with high-functioning autism. Their research was picked up by sciencedaily.com, an online source for research news. Twenty-four additional health, news and autism sites included their findings.
