Health Coaches are Available

Canisius is committed to the wellness of the college community. I would like to encourage Independent Health participants to utilize an engagement tool to assist you and your family on your journey to wellness. The program is available to Independent Health members and their dependent spouses.

Members can contact Independent Health Member Engagement at (716) 505-8540. Their hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm; no weekends or holidays.

When a member contacts the Independent Health Member Engagement Specialist they will:

• Assess and review your current health status
• Provide you with important information and helpful resources from Independent Health as needed
• Answer questions regarding your Independent Health benefits.

I encourage you to utilize this benefit.

Reminder – Printer Supplies are Covered by ComDoc

Occasionally departments may receive unsolicited calls from vendors offering to provide toner for the department printer/copiers. Do not accept theses offers. The copier/print program with ComDoc covers toner and repairs under the program agreement. When repairs or toner are needed, just call the 800 number using the copier/printer ID number located on the ComDoc sticker attached to the front of the unit. Questions may be directed to Claudia Hojnacki in ITS at Ext. 2444.
