Nearly 60 fourth graders from Buffalo Public School #17 visited campus on Thursday, January 29 to participate in a STEM Career Fair, hosted by Biology Professor Ann Wright, PhD.

Fourth graders participated in various hands-on activities, which focused on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The activities were led by undergraduate members of Dr. Wright’s Mentor Resource Lab (MRL). The MRL is an afterschool program within the Buffalo School District that promotes STEM learning through inquiry-based “experiments” designed to engage students and generate interest in the sciences.
