This semester, the FacTS Center is offering the following workshops that help you save time by using internet tools for teaching, research or administrative duties.

Where it Should Be: An Introduction to the Online Cloud for Faculty and Staff

This workshop introduces web-based storage, sharing and collaboration using Google Drive. Store and share files in a secure internet location, easily accessed and updated from multiple devices. Use Google’s online word processor, spreadsheet and other tools to easily collaborate with colleagues on and off campus.

Desire2Learn: Our Learning Management System

We offer several workshops devoted to Desire2Learn, covering different tools and possibilities. These include sessions on getting started in D2L, the Content and Discussions areas, and the Gradebook and Dropboxes tools. With D2L, you no longer have to spend so much time making photocopies or lugging around all that paper!
