It’s not too late to serve as one of Santa’s Elves!

Help be one of Santa’s Elves for Christmas!
Serve with Campus Ministry at St Luke’s Mission on Thursday, December 18 from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. This is open to faculty/staff, alumni your families, students and friends of the college:

  • St Luke’s provides Christmas for 2600 families in need in the city of Buffalo.
  • St. Luke’s needs thousands of wrapped toys moved from a secret location they affectionately dub their “toy box” to their Mission Mall on this time and date. It is like working in Santa’s workshop getting the toys ready for the children.
  • After our work, Amy Betros HON ’09 co-founder of St. Luke’s, will host the Canisius volunteers for homemade pizza in the dining room.
  • Meet us at St. Luke’s at 325 Walden Avenue at 6:30 p.m. We will have people there waiting for you.
  • We will have vans leaving in front of the Tower Lot at 6:15 p.m. (Or, you can follow us over in your car).

To sign-up or for more information contact Joe Van Volkenburg, Campus Ministry, at Ext. 2875 or email vanvolkj@canisius.edu

Donor Donations Reminder

We have always been aware of how fortunate Canisius is to have loyal donors. In order to ensure continued support and so our donors are able to claim the benefits of their gift on their 2014 taxes, please forward any donations that may have been received by your department to Advancement Services, AG202, attention: Katie Huck. All gifts to the college must be recorded in Banner so that proper tax receipts may be issued by December 31, 2014. This is an ongoing policy and as we get to the end of the year, time is a critical element. If you have any questions, please call Katie Huck at Ext. 8211 or email huckk@canisius.edu.
Thank you and happy holidays!
