High School students from Colegio de San Ignacio (CSI) in Oviedo, Spain visited Canisius on Monday, December 8. The Admissions Department took them on a tour of campus. Students later attended a luncheon sponsored by SEHS. They are in Buffalo for 2 weeks, hosted by Canisius High School and Buffalo Seminary. Students from our Education Department will be participating in a three week educational internship at CSI in May 2015. They will be interning in CSI’s English as a Second Language program. This collaboration began five years ago and continues to be a rich experience for all the stakeholders.

Your Golden Griffin women’s basketball team will continue its four game homestand Thursday night, December 11, against Binghamton. Game time in the KAC is slated for 7 p.m. It will be Tim Horton’s night with fans receiving complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and Timbits.
Originally scheduled for Nov.19, the game had to be rescheduled due to the November snow event. Canisius has won three straight and currently sits atop the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings with a 2-0 record in the league.
