Your Golden Griffin women’s basketball team will host its conference openers this weekend when the team battles Manhattan and St. Peter’s.
Coming off an incredible come from behind win at St. Francis, Pa. this past Sunday, Canisius meets Manhattan Friday night at 7 p.m. before hosting the Peahens at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Following the rousing success of the faculty-staff hockey event earlier this season, Canisius athletics is announcing two more dates for faculty and staff to enjoy winter sports events during the 2014-15 campaign.
The first is Saturday, January 10 when your Griffs hockey team meets Holy Cross at the HARBORCENTER. Tickets for faculty-staff will be free. Game time is slated for 7:35 p.m.
The second is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, when your women’s basketball team meets perennial powerhouse Marist in the KAC at 2 p.m. Again tickets will be free.
Look for more information on how to receive your free tickets in future issues of The Dome. Both games will be sponsored by the Buffalo Brewery District.
