The Canisius baseball team will produce a program first this weekend when it hosts the Sycamores from Indiana State. Larry Bird’s alma mater will be the first Missouri Valley Conference squad to ever visit the Griffs.
The teams will play a three-game series in two different facilities starting on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the Demske Sports Complex. Saturday the two squads will battle at 2 p.m. at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia before returning to Buffalo for an Easter Sunday contest scheduled for noon.
