Two Golden Griffins – Billy Baron from men’s basketball and Kyle Gibbons from hockey – are in line to receive national recognition and you have the opportunity to participate in their success.

Baron, one of the nation’s leading scorers, is one of 24 finalists for the Bob Cousy Award. The award is handed out annually to the top point guard in the country. To vote for Billy, please visit www.cousyaward.com and cast your vote. The 24 finalists will be narrowed down to five in early March with the winner announced prior to the Final Four. Gibbons, who is nearing the all-time record at Canisius for goals scored in a career, is a finalist for the Senior Class Award. The Senior Class Award not only goes to an outstanding hockey player, but also to one who is active on campus and in his community. To vote for Kyle, please visit seniorclassaward.com.
