The deadline for submitting online student abstracts is one week away. Students can apply for ISD 2014 until Monday, March 3 through the online application on the myCanisius portal.
The seventh annual Ignatian Scholarship Day will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at various venues on campus. This event is an opportunity for every student to submit accomplished work from the current or previous semester for exhibit, presentation, or performance in a conference environment similar to that of a learned society or organization. ISD will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a poster session in Science Hall Atrium and Commons and presentations will begin in Science Hall classrooms. The day will conclude with a performance by the Canisius Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble in the Montante Cultural Center.
The types of presentations students can choose from are poster displays, oral papers, digital presentations, two or three dimensional art, and artistic performances.
In addition, Canisius College academic clubs are invited to participate with exhibits and demonstrations in Science Hall Atrium. Academic club presidents should contact Kathy Peter at Ext. 2121 for an Academic Club application.
