We are currently using Checkbox version 5.0. A new version will replace it with a smoother workflow and a slightly easier user interface. Moving to the new version presents some challenges however for past users. Surveys can be exported but reports and responses cannot.

If you intend to use Checkbox in the future please send an email message to Joe Rizzo (rizzo1@canisius.edu) stating you name, your username, and the names of your surveys to be moved over to the new version. I will execute an export of your surveys and the import.

If you wish to export (save) the results from old surveys, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the survey you want to export the results for.
  2. In the right panel, click on Responses.
  3. In the box below that, click on the button to export.
  4. You will be presented with an Options dialog box asking you what you want exported and how you want the results exported.
  5. Make sure that the Export mode is set to Standard CSV.
  6. Check the boxes for the information your wish to export. With the exception of “Export Incomplete Responses” I suggest checking all boxes.
