The Canisius College Chorale, under the direction of Frank Scinta, will join the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in its annual campus concert Tuesday, February 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. The Chorale will perform Vivaldi’s “Beatus Vir” (Paslm 111) for orchestra, chorus and soprano/mezzo soloists. Canisius music faculty members Melissa Thorburn and Cristen Gregory will act as soloists in the work. Included in the evening’s program will be a new work by music faculty member Carmen Aquila and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C minor. Tickets are $25 general admission and $12 for students.
