The Canisius Community is invited to “The Gospel According to Josh,” a one-man off-Broadway play featuring 15 characters and seven songs, and ultimately ends with Josh’s father’s tragic suicide. The program will also include an educational session, at which Josh Rivedal, a professional actor and playwright based in New York City, highlights his own struggle with depression while in school. Rivedal will also discuss local and national hotlines, early warning signs, and share how he received help through college counseling and by reaching out to those closest to him.
The program will be held Thursday, January 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. All are welcome to attend.
