The Center for Professional Development is happy to announce that former President and CEO of Verizon Wireless, Denny Strigl ’74, HON ’11, will speak at the next Taking the Lead speaker series event on February 24 from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the Montante Cultural Center. The topic of his talk is “What it Takes for Managers to Consistently Deliver Strong Results in Their Organizations!”
Strigl has experience delivering breakthrough results that have led to exponential growth in a highly-competitive industry, despite increasingly globalized competition and economic pressures. Over the course of two decades, he took Verizon Wireless from $192 million in sales to $62 billion. Verizon’s customer base went from 257,000 to 91.2 million, during that same period of time.
