The Distinguished Faculty Award recognizes outstanding faculty members of Canisius College who have served as a full-time faculty member for at least three years and are distinguished for contributions to the academic world and teaching excellence.

The Distinguished Senior award recognizes seniors who have distinguished themselves through leadership roles and involvement with the college.

Kid’s Day Coming On Friday

The annual Kid’s Day contest is coming to Canisius this Friday morning (January 17) when your women’s basketball hosts Monmouth at 11 am. Over 2,300 elementary school children are expected to attend the event at the Koessler Athletic Center.

Because of the 28 buses required to bring the children to campus, the upper KAC lot will be closed from 10 pm Thursday evening through 2 pm on Friday afternoon.
