Classroom Capture
Classroom capture systems allow for the recording of lectures, guest speakers, and presentations. The system can record video and audio of the presenter along with non-encrypted content from the resident computer, a laptop or the document camera.

Three rooms over in Science Hall (SH 1004, SH 1013A, and SH 1013B) have built-in capture systems. In addition, a mobile capture cart is available for use in that facility and can be connected to the lecterns in select classrooms for the purposes of recording content.

Training on the use of classroom capture and scheduling use of the mobile capture cart can be arranged by contacting Bob Grabowski (Ext. 3278). More information, including instructions for use, can be found online at: http://my.canisius.edu/web/media-center/capture

Classroom Tip of the Month
Ever wonder how to request swipe card access to a classroom? Who do you contact if you run out of whiteboard markers or chalk in your classroom? Curious about why the newly upgraded classroom you are teaching in doesn’t have a VCR?

The answers to these questions (and more!) can be found by visiting the the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Media Center community. Have a question you think should be added to the page? Submit it in the form located on the right-side of the FAQ page.
