The End is Near: ANGEL is Going Away

ANGEL is being phased out at the end of May, 2014 and is being replaced by Desire2Learn (D2L). Information Technology Services, in preparation for the full implementation of D2L in May will be offering workshops during the fall and spring semesters. Dates, times, and registration can be found on the workshop registration site. All workshops will be held in OM-115 and will be hands on.

Workshops will be structured to make the transition logical and as easy as possible. The first week of the month, three identical one hour sessions will give participants an overview of D2L and introduce them to navigating the new learning management system. The second week will focus on Content and Discussion Forums. Week three demonstrates Dropboxes and the Gradebook and week four introduces quizzes. If one were to attend one session of each week they would get everything they need to get started.

If you have any questions about the transition from ANGEL to D2L, or these workshops please send them, via email, to Joe Rizzo (rizzo1@canisius.edu), Leah MacVie (macviel@canisius.edu), or Estelle Siener (siener@canisius.edu).
