A Latino/a Heritage Program in the Soup with Substance Series 2013 – 2014 will be held 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Thursday, October 17 in the Regis South Room of the Richard E. Winter ’42 Student Center. It is free and open to the public. A vegan Venezuelan Pabellon Criollo (black bean) soup and Mayan hot chocolate will be provided by Chartwell’s Dining Services.
Hosted by Professor Julia Wescott of the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures, the program will feature Gilbert Hernandez, host of WIVB-TV’s “Hispanic Voices” and Edwin Martinez, publisher of Western New York’s Panorama Hispanic News. Voices”
