Richard Wnuk, a veteran of the electronic game industry, will give a presentation at Buffalo Game Space at the Paddock Chevrolet Golf Dome, 75 Brompton Road, Tonawanda, NY on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Wnuk’s experience includes senior management positions for Atari, Time Warner Interactive, Red Storm Entertainment, Konami of America, Jaleco Entertainment, and Majesco Entertainment. Currently, he is senior advisor with Kik Interactive, a high tech company behind the popular instant messenger system Kik.

Wnuk will talk about the challenges that face the industry and opportunities for independent game developers who are interested in creating games in HTML5 and other open technologies for mobile platforms.

Buffalo Game Space is a membership-based group of creative individuals (visual artists, musicians, writers, programmers, educators, students, professionals and hobbyists) interested in creating and developing games, and DIY interactive projects.

This event is organized in collaboration with Perfect Parallel, a golf simulation company and the Game Design Concentration of the Canisius College Digital Media Arts Program.
