The annual competition between Niagara and Canisius, appropriately called the Battle of the Bridge, kicks off Wednesday evening with two important conference clashes.
Your Golden Griffin volleyball team hosts the Purple Eagles at 6 p.m. in the KAC gym.
A special ceremony honoring the Griffs four championship teams in 2013 will be held after game two. Representatives from synchronized swimming, ice hockey, baseball and women’s lacrosse will be in attendance to unfurl their championship banners. A packed house is expected.
