The Canisius College Video Institute production of the September episode of Kaleidoscope is now airing on Time Warner Cable.  This 30-minute television program celebrates the religious diversity of our region, and represents a collaboration between the Video Institute and the Network of Religious Communities.  Kaleidoscope is re-broadcast each Friday at 6:35 p.m. on Time Warner Cable 20.

This episode features a story about the essential role Hospital Chaplains play in the medical world.  Several ECMC Chaplains — who are on call 24/7 assisting patients, families, and hospital staff — tell their incredible stories.  The episode also includes a conversation between Rabbi Perry Netter of Temple Beth Tzedek and Rabbi Gary Pokras, Senior Rabbi of Temple Beth Zion, as they discuss the Jewish Holidays of Fall.

Students in the Spring 2013 Video Institute course produced six episodes of Kaleidoscope.  The course was taught by Barbara Irwin, PhD, professor of Communication Studies, and Paula DeAngelis-Stein, COM ’86/MS ’02.
