The opening of the hockey and basketball seasons are on the horizon and that means it’s time to purchase your season tickets.
The hockey team is coming off its first-ever NCAA appearance and they finished the year ranked 19th in the country. Goalie Tony Capobianco and one of the nation’s top scorers, Kyle Gibbons, participated in NHL camps this past summer.
Men’s basketball has just been picked to finish third in the MAAC. Behind the stellar play of Billy Baron, the Griffs won 20 games and advanced three rounds into post-season play last March.
Big things are also expected from Terry Zeh’s women’s basketball team with Jamie Ruttle and Jen Morabito returning for their senior years.
