The Meet-the-Faculty recital originally scheduled for this Monday, September 16 has been rescheduled for the following Monday, September 23 at 12 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center.
Baritone James Wright and guest pianist Jannis Peterson will perform works by Faure, Gounod, Korngold, Schubert and Schumann. Described by critics as “tremendous,” “entertaining” and “a pleasure,” James Wright is a favorite among audiences for his charismatic presence and warm tone. In addition to teaching at Canisius College, he is an adjunct professor of voice at SUNY Fredonia and the Artistic Administrator of Nickel City Opera here in Buffalo.
