Your Canisius synchronized swimming team kicks off Griffin Week activities with a big dual against Incarnate Word. The two squads will square off at 7 p.m. Friday night in figures competition and then battle again at noon on Saturday with solo, duet, trio and team routines. Incarnate Word, a relative newcomer to the sport, placed second in the country last year behind Ohio State. Canisius was fifth in 2012.
