The Canisius College Institute for the Study of Human-Animal Relations (ISHAR) will host “Cats in Context” on Sunday, January 20 from 4:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. and Monday, January 21, from 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Regis Room of the Winter ’42 Student Center.

The two-day event welcomes experts from multiple disciplines for a thorough examination of humankind’s relationships with cats. They will discuss everything from the history of cats and humans to the welfare of cats in animal shelters.
