Influenza cases continue to rise throughout the state. The best protection is vaccination.
Student Health and the Visiting Nurses Association are teaming up to offer a second vaccination clinic on campus on Friday, January 18, 2013. The clinic will be held outside Student Health in the tunnel of Frisch Hall from 10 am to 2 pm.
The vaccination is $30.00. Insurances accepted include Independent Health, Univera, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medicare Part B. Please review your insurance benefits for influenza vaccination coverage.
Flu shots are effective two weeks after vaccination and can prevent infection or reduce the severity of flu if you should get sick. Mark your calendar and make this clinic a priority.
