Christmas Hours Start Monday (December 17)

The college is pleased to announce that Christmas hours, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with one-half hour for lunch, will be in effect from Monday, December 17 through Friday, January 11. Adjustments in hours may be made where workloads require different operating hours.

Canisius students experience success due to dedication and commitment of faculty and staff

iPad Users Group December Meeting

The iPad Users Group will be meeting on Friday, December 14 at 1:30 p.m. in SH-1017. Anyone interested in learning more from your peers about the types of things you can do with the iPad or other tablet products and smartphones are welcome. If you don’t have a tablet; no problem. Ask our group for their experiences to help make the right decision on what you might be looking for. Remember, Christmas is just around the corner. So find out what to tell that special Santa in your life.

The iPad Users Group meets on the second Friday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in Science Hall 1017. The purpose of this group is to share and explore the use of mobile devices on campus and off. This group is open to faculty and staff and for anyone using mobile technology or planning to do so. The group is moderated by Scott Clark and Joe Rizzo but is driven by the participants. Learn about applications, uses in education, changes in mobile technology, and the fundamentals of mobile technology.

6-1 Griffs Return Home on Monday

Your Golden Griffin men’s basketball team returns to the friendly confines of the Koessler Center Monday evening for their first home game in nearly four weeks. Canisius will host Longwood at 7 pm.

The Griffs are off to their best overall start in 38 years and their best conference start in 15 seasons. Guard Billy Baron was named the MAAC PLayer of the Week on Monday after the Griffs nailed a school record 17 treys in their win over Marist.

Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the ticket office at 888-2885. Faculty and staff receive a discount with school ID.
