St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy and Campus Ministry are partnering for Christmas.

St. Luke’s is providing Christmas for over 100 Teenagers who they regularly serve. Each year many Canisius Faculty/Staff turn to Campus Ministry for referrals and this is the program that is in need this year.

St. Luke’s said it costs $50 per teenager. If that amount is too high, any level of giving will help provide a partial sponsorship. St. Luke’s welcomes all levels of giving! Each gift will include personal care items and some candy.

St. Luke’s asks for either gift cards from Target or Walmart or you may write a check at any level and send it to Campus Ministry by December 19. Please make checks payable to St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy. Please write sponsor a teenager in the memo portion.

St. Luke’s serves 600 people in their dining room each day, they also run a Food Pantry, a Mission Mall, and a Catholic Home School. In addition, they have two residences for men and 25 area homes where they shelter women and children.

St. Luke’s does not receive money from the government or the diocese. Trusting in God’s Divine Providence, their ministry depends on donations, both big and small, of many individuals who give generously from what God has blessed them with so that others may live.
