Canisius Chorale To perform In St. Pius X Church, Getzville

The Canisius College Chorale, under the direction of Frank Scinta, will continue its 2012 Sacred Spaces Concert Series with a performance on Sunday, November 18 at 7:30 p.m. in St. Pius X Church, 1700 North French Road, Getzville,NY.

The program is free and open to the public. It will feature works of Vivaldi, Gruber, Leontiv, Hogan, Dawson and others.

Sacred Spaces stems from an idea the choir proposed eight years ago to feature its music in some of Western New York’s most beautiful and acoustically resonant environments – namely, the sanctuaries of our region’s present and former churches. As a result, the choir has visited nearly thirty houses of worship with its repertoire of sacred and secular music spanning five centuries.

Join the Chorale as it presents a lovely evening of great choral music!
