The 2012-13 season begins for the women’s basketball team Friday night when the Griffs host Big 4 rival, University @ Buffalo. Game time at the Koessler Athletic Center is set for 7 pm
Prior to tip off, Dr. Ellen Conley, will unfurl a banner commemorating the 1981-82 team’s participation in the AIAW national championship tournament. Several former players, including recent Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame inductee Kim Kaul, are expected to join the coach of that team – Barb Fields – at the unveiling.
2012-13 schedule posters will be given to the first 100 fans in attendance.
