Your Golden Griffin men’s soccer team (8-5-2) closes out the home portion of its schedule this weekend with a pair of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference contests. Canisius hosts Iona on Friday night at 7 pm before meeting Fairfield at 1 pm on Sunday. The contest versus Fairfield will be the final home game for eight Griffin seniors.
The Griffs lead the MAAC in scoring and home attendance. Senior Gavin Falconer is third in the conference with nine goals on the season.

Tickets for the Nov. 17 basketball doubleheader featuring the Canisius men against St. Bonaventure and the Golden Griffin women versus Bucknell are in limited supply. Season ticket holders who have not renewed should do so by October 29, or those seats will be released for the Nov. 17 game. Family Pass holders should reserve their tickets immediately for the day’s games. Those who have yet to purchase individual or group tickets may want to consider a purchase in the next few days, as we expect all reserved seats to be gone shortly.
