Canisius College plays host to the annual TEDxBuffalo event next Tuesday, October 9 from 9:20 a.m. – 4:20 p.m, in the Montante Cultural Center. The Canisius College Women’s Business Center is among the event sponsors.
The theme is “The World in Our Backyard” and this year’s event will feature speakers from around Western New York, including Jonathan Lawrence, PhD, associate professor of religious studies and theology.
TEDx conferences invite ‘thinkers’ and ‘doers’ to speak for 18 minutes. Their talks are then made available, free, at TED.com. Presentations from Tuesday’s event at Canisius will be streamed live during the event and archived for later viewing. Check http://www.tedxbuffalo.com for more information.
