The Niagara Frontier’s Unwritten History (A-Argus Publishing, 2012) is the latest book by Neil P. O’Donnell, academic skills coordinator for COPE and adjunct professor of anthropology. The book includes results of excavations and research O’Donnell conducted throughout Western New York. It also summarizes the Native American occupations of the region from 12,000 years ago up to the early contact period, when Europeans first traversed the Niagara Frontier. Unwritten History is available through Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and at the Canisius College bookstore.

All proceeds of O’Donnell’s book will benefit the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society.
