Canisius4Kids Interdisciplinary Camp A Success: Thank you Canisius College

Canisius4Kids Summer Camp was a huge success in large part due to all of those across campus who went the extra mile to provide helpful information and resources to our co-managers, Kristen Frawley and Patrick Wirth as well as our cooperating teachers. This camp served as the practicum and seminar for the Differentiated Instruction graduate program.  The students worked tirelessly to provide an engaging and rich Interdisciplinary learning experience for local middle school children.

Please check out our website to see all the exciting things that our campers experienced: http://canisius4kids.edublogs.org/

We are looking forward to another wonderful camp experience in 2013, so please help spread the word!  Registration begins in September!

Science Hall is Open!

Canisius marked the start of the new academic year with the opening of Science Hall.  Watch the video and take a peek inside.  Or better yet, take a look for yourself.  You won’t be disappointed.

Check out the 75-foot wall graphic and the banners both outside and inside the building that represent the college’s new brand.  Grab a cup of coffee and chat with faculty and students in gathering spaces throughout the building.  Note the glass walls and walkways that serve as windows to science-in-action, and see the living green wall.

Canisius will formally dedicate Science Hall on Friday, September 7 at 2 p.m., so mark your calendars!
