Meet-the-Faculty Recital Today (March 26)

The Meet-the-Faculty recital on Monday (March 26) features music from the Baroque Era for voice, cello and harpsichord, performed by Canisius College faculty members Cristen Gregory, soprano; cellist Bryan Eckenrode and harpsichordist Jane Cary. The program includes a sonata for cello and piano by Viennese-born composer Johann Sebald Triemer, an aria from Handel’s opera Alessandro and one from Purcell’s masque The Fairy Queen. Monsters In The Closet March 26, 27

Canisius College presents Monsters in the Closet, an event featuring movie screenings of Frankenstein and Gods & Monsters on Monday, March 26 at 5 p.m. in the Regis Room South. A panel discussion regarding the films will take place in the Regis Room South on Tuesday, March 27 at 6 p.m. The events are free and open to the public.

Lunch With Sharrow, Costello

There will be a free luncheon with Walt Sharrow, PhD, and Dave Costello, PhD, on April 3 from noon – 1 p.m. in SC 205. These highly regarded and humorous history professors have been at Canisius for nearly a half century, and will talk informally about the many changes they’ve seen and influenced during this time. 6th Annual Goin’ Bald for Bucks & Locks of Love Challenge

Wednesday, April 18 will be the 6th annual Canisius College Goin’ Bald for Bucks and Locks of Love Challenge. What better way to live out the college’s mission than by selflessly donating your own hair for a good cause. By donating your hair, or raising money for either Locks of Love or Goin’ Bald for Bucks, you can make a difference in the life of a person in need.
