The Canisius baseball team plays its earliest home opener in program history today (March 7), as the Griffs meet the University of Buffalo in a single game. First pitch is slated for 3:30 p.m. at the Demske Sports Complex.

The Golden Griffins are coming off a weekend split against Long Island University. The Griffs also own a pair of wins over Duke. Canisius is 6-5 and the Bulls are 2-5.
