Since the 2011-2012 winter season has been late in arriving, this is a reminder to everyone about navigating parking lots and sidewalks during winter weather.
- Snowplows can’t maneuver like cars. Give them space to work.
- Wear practical footwear when the lots and sidewalks are snow covered or slippery.
- Many Canisius buildings have deicing chemicals in bins just inside their entrances. Take the time to spread a little of it if appropriate.
- Adjust driving techniques to the weather and road conditions.
