Toner Recycling Reminder

Information Technology Services (ITS) encourages all faculty and staff to recycle used toner cartridges.  When a toner cartridge is empty or when the waste toner container is full, please put the cartridges back into their original packaging and send it to ITS marked “RECYCLE”.

Please save and reuse all packaging material.  Toner can be messy, but not hazardous, so reuse of the original plastic enclosure within the shipping box is helpful.  Help changing toner cartridges or replacing waste toner containers, and other questions for your specific printer can be found here.

Gary Lew, senior facilities operations manager; staff of the mailroom; Tom Stabler, director of chemistry laboratories; and Dave Teloh, campus safety director, are also helping with this initiative to make toner recycling easier on campus.
